What is a CVV Number?
The CVV (Card Verification Value) is a security feature found on credit and debit cards. This number helps verify that you physically possess the card when making online or phone purchases where the card isn't present.
Where to Find Your CVV
For most cards, the CVV is located as follows:
Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards: The CVV is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card, usually in or near the signature panel.
American Express cards: The CVV (also called CID) is a 4-digit number printed on the front of the card, usually on the right side above the card number.
Important Security Notes
Keep it confidential: Never share your CVV with anyone except when making legitimate purchases.
Not the same as PIN: Your CVV is different from your ATM PIN or phone passcode.
Required for online transactions: When making deposits using your bank card on FXTRADING.com, you'll need to enter this number as an additional security measure.
Not stored by merchants: For your security, legitimate businesses (including FXTRADING.com) do not store your CVV after transaction approval.
If you're having trouble locating your CVV or have questions about using your card for transactions on FXTRADING.com, please contact our customer service team through Live Chat or email [email protected].
