Monitoring Your Investment Performance

As an investor, you can track both active and closed investments through the FXTRADING.com Trading App or Web Trader. This guide explains how to access and understand your investment performance metrics.

Accessing Your Investments

  1. Log into your Client Portal

  2. Navigate to the Fund Management section

  3. Select "Assets" to view your investments

Investment Dashboard Sections

Overview Tab

This tab provides a comprehensive summary of your investment performance:

  • Net results (profit/loss after fees)

  • Performance fees paid

  • Gross results (profit/loss before fees)

  • Investment duration

  • Investment settings

For active investments, you can:

  • View and adjust distributed profit settings

  • Send a close request when you wish to exit

For closed investments:

  • Distributed profit will be displayed as a percentage

Positions Tab

View all trading activity associated with your investment:

  • Open positions currently held by the fund

  • Closed positions with complete trading history

  • Detailed order information including:

    • Open/close dates and times

    • Duration of each position

    • Entry and exit prices

    • Swap charges/credits

    • Order identification numbers

Fee Report Tab

Track all fees paid throughout your investment:

  • Total fees paid since inception

  • Visual chart showing fee distribution by billing periods

Understanding Performance Metrics

Net Performance Calculations

  • Net Return (%): (Net Profit ÷ Investment Amount) × 100

  • Net Profit ($): Gross Profit − Total Fees

  • Unrealized Profit ($): Net Profit − Realized Profit

  • Realized Profit ($): Portion of net profit transferred to your investment wallet

  • Investment Amount ($): Your initial capital contribution

  • Current Investment Value ($): Investment Amount + Gross Profit − Fees − Realized Profit

Gross Performance Calculations

  • Gross Return (%): (Gross Profit ÷ Investment Amount) × 100

  • Gross Profit ($): Total trading results before fees

Regularly monitoring these metrics helps you make informed decisions about maintaining, increasing, or closing your investments.
