Understanding Partner Codes

Updated over 3 months ago

A partner code is a unique alphanumeric identifier that clients can enter during the registration process to associate their account with your affiliate program. This code serves as an alternative to using your partner link directly.

For Traders

When registering at FXTRADING.com, potential clients may encounter a field asking for a partner code. This field is optional and serves several purposes:

  • Allows traders to manually connect with a specific affiliate

  • Provides an alternative to clicking through a partner link

  • Enables traders to choose which affiliate they wish to be associated with

During registration, the system validates the entered partner code:

  • Valid codes receive a green confirmation indicator

  • Invalid codes trigger an error message

  • Empty fields allow registration to proceed without affiliate association

Important: If a trader uses one affiliate's link but enters another affiliate's partner code, the account will be registered under the affiliate whose code was entered, not the link provider.

For Affiliates

As an affiliate, you can create up to 20 additional partner codes to use in various marketing campaigns. This allows you to:

  • Track the effectiveness of different marketing channels

  • Create memorable codes for specific promotions

  • Segment your marketing efforts for better analysis

Partner Code Creation Rules:

  • Maximum of 20 additional codes allowed

  • Use only lowercase English letters and hyphens (-) or underscores (_)

  • Avoid using:

    • Capital letters

    • Spaces

    • Special characters (except hyphens and underscores)

    • Numbers

Partner codes provide flexibility in your marketing strategy by offering an alternative registration method for potential clients who may not click directly on your partner links.
