Trading Account Archive Process

Account Archiving Guidelines

Understanding the archiving process for different trading accounts is essential for effective account management. Each account type follows specific archiving rules based on its functionality.

Standard Trading Accounts

You can manually archive your standard trading account at any time through your Client Portal. Additionally, the system will automatically archive any account with a zero or negative balance that remains inactive for three consecutive months.

Signal Provider Accounts

Signal Provider accounts offer standard deposit and withdrawal functionality. When attempting to archive these accounts, the system performs a verification check:

  • If the account is connected to active trading signals, the archiving request will be denied

  • If no active signals are detected, the account can be archived normally

  • Archived Signal Provider accounts can be reactivated when needed

Fund Management Accounts

Fund Management master accounts operate under specialized conditions:

  • Direct deposits and withdrawals are not permitted

  • Cannot be directly archived if there are open positions

  • These accounts are automatically archived when their associated Fund Management strategy is archived

  • Once archived, Fund Management accounts cannot be reactivated

Important Distinctions

When a trading signal is archived, only the signal itself is archived - the Signal Provider's trading account remains active unless manually archived.

Conversely, when a Fund Management strategy is archived, both the strategy and its associated master trading account are permanently archived together, with no option for reactivation.
