How Rebates Work in Funds Management

Updated this week

Funds Management on FXTRADING.com involves specific relationships between Fund Managers, investors, and Partners that determine how rebates are distributed. This article explains who receives rebates from Funds Management activities.

Fund Manager and Investor Relationship

If you are a Fund Manager with investors in your fund:

  • If your investors have no upline Partner, these transactions will not generate any rebates

  • If your investors have an upline Partner, rebates will be paid to the investor's upline Partner

Fund Manager and Upline Partner Relationship

If you are a Fund Manager registered under a Partner:

  • Trades you execute as a Fund Manager will not generate any rebates for your upline Partner

  • This is because Fund Managers only collect Performance Fee and management fees, while the managed funds actually belong to the investors, not the Fund Manager

Important Notes

  • Rebates are only paid to Partners for direct client trading activity

  • Funds Management follows different rebate distribution rules than regular trading
