The automated stop-out system will alert all clients once their equity falls below 100% (margin level falls below 100%). In addition, a computerised liquidation will start once this level drops to 50%. Usually, you won’t experience a negative balance because of the automated stop-out system. However, when the market moves exceptionally fast and the prices go against you, your account may fall into a negative balance.
