Geographic Restrictions for Funds Management

Review where new fund creation and subscriptions are restricted, and what remains available for existing Fund Managers and Investors in those regions.

The following countries and territories cannot create new funds or submit new fund subscriptions:

Restricted Regions

The United States of America and its territories, including:

  • American Samoa

  • Baker Island

  • Guam

  • Howland Island

  • Kingman Reef

  • Marshall Islands

  • Northern Mariana Islands

  • Puerto Rico

  • Midway Islands

  • Wake Island

  • Palmyra Atoll

  • Jarvis Island

  • Johnston Atoll

  • Navassa Island

  • U.S. Virgin Islands

  • United States Minor Outlying Islands

Other Restricted Regions:

  • Martinique

  • Belize

  • Ontario Province (within Canada)

  • North Korea

  • Iran

  • New Zealand

  • Russia

  • Ukraine


Existing Fund Managers and Investors

For Fund Managers and Investors in these regions who previously created a fund or subscribed to one:

  • Existing funds and investments will remain active

  • Fund Managers can continue trading

  • Orders will continue to be allocated to investments

  • Performance Fees will continue to be paid

For account-specific help, sign in to the Client Portal, open Service Hub from the left navigation menu, select Create Ticket, and choose the category and issue that best match your request.
