Trading Account Settings Management

Updated over 3 months ago

Overview of Account Customization Options

You can manage various settings for your trading accounts, such as nicknames and leverage, from the Account List tab in your Client Portal.

Available Account Settings

Adjusting Maximum Leverage

The maximum leverage available depends on your trading account's current leverage requirements (determined by its current equity). You can always choose any custom leverage below the maximum allowed for your account.

To view your current leverage:

  • Click the dropdown icon to expand the account card

  • View the leverage setting displayed on your account

To change leverage:

  1. Log in to your Client Portal

  2. Click the 3-dot icon next to your chosen trading account

  3. Select "Change max leverage"

  4. Use the dropdown to set your leverage from 1:2 to 1:Unlimited (or select "Custom" for specific settings)

  5. Click "Continue" and "Confirm" to apply the changes

Note: If you choose a leverage setting higher than what's currently available (due to account equity or higher margin requirements), the actual leverage applied to your positions will be lower than your maximum setting. You can check the actual leverage applied in your Client Portal.

Renaming Your Account

To give your account a nickname:

  1. Go to Account List in your Client Portal

  2. Click the 3-dot icon on any trading account

  3. Select "Rename account"

  4. Enter your preferred nickname in the pop-up window

  5. Click "Continue" to confirm

Setting Read-Only Access

Setting a read-only password allows you to share trading account access with a third party who can view trading activity but cannot place trades.

Managing Statements

To manage your statements:

  1. Go to your Client Portal and click on Account List

  2. Click the 3-dot icon on the relevant trading account

  3. Select "Manage your statements"

  4. Check the box if you want to receive email statements

  5. Click "Save"

To stop receiving statements, follow the same steps but uncheck the box before saving.

Changing Trading Password

You'll need to set up a trading password for each account you create, which you'll use when logging into the trading platform.

Archiving Accounts

You can manually archive trading accounts to hide them from your active Real and Demo account lists. Archived accounts will appear in the Archived tab of the Account List area.
