How do Copy Trading performance fees work?

A performance fee is an amount an investor may pay to a Signal Provider when a copied investment generates eligible profit under the settings shown for that investment.

Who sets the performance fee?

The Signal Provider selects a performance-fee rate within the options available when creating or managing a strategy. The investor can review the rate and other strategy information before starting an investment.

Which fee rate applies to my investment?

Use the rate recorded for the investment in the current Copy Trading service. A later change to a strategy's displayed fee does not automatically prove that the new rate applies to an existing investment.

Review the investment details before changing, closing or creating an investment.

When is a performance fee calculated?

The Copy Trading service calculates and records the fee according to the billing period or fee event displayed for the investment. A withdrawal, investment closure or scheduled calculation can affect when a fee is shown, depending on the current product flow.

Do not assume that every fee is charged only on withdrawal, only at the end of a billing period, or at the same time for every investment.

How is the fee amount determined?

The fee depends on the eligible performance recorded by the Copy Trading service and the applicable fee rate. The calculation can take account of previous performance, losses, deposits, withdrawals or the investment lifecycle as defined by the current service.

Use the fee record and calculation details displayed for the investment. A simple percentage-of-current-profit example may not reproduce the final amount in every scenario.

Where can I see the fee?

  1. Open Copy Trading in the FXTRADING.com Client Portal or supported app.

  2. Select the relevant strategy or investment.

  3. Review the performance-fee rate, billing information and fee history shown.

  4. Compare the fee with the investment period and recorded performance.

What happens to a fee paid to a Signal Provider?

The service records an eligible performance fee for the Signal Provider through the wallet or balance function shown in the current product flow. The Signal Provider can use only the actions made available for that balance.
