Handling Investment Detachment Requests

As a Fund Manager, you'll need to process investment detachment requests from your investors. This guide walks you through the procedure and explains what happens after an investment is detached.

Processing Detachment Requests

When investors wish to withdraw from your fund, follow these steps to handle their requests:

  1. Log into your Client Portal

  2. Navigate to the Fund Management tab

  3. Go to the "Approvals" section

  4. Select "Detachment investment" option

  5. Review the investor details for each request

  6. Click "Approve" to confirm the detachment

After Detachment Approval

Once an investment is detached:

  • All trading positions related to this investment close at current market prices

  • Performance fees are calculated and paid at the end of the billing period

  • The investor's capital is transferred back to their investment wallet

Important Information

Investors have the option to cancel their detachment requests before you approve them or before the automatic closure time, allowing them to continue investing in your fund.
