How to Archive Your Funds

Updated this week

As a Funds Manager, you can archive funds when they're no longer needed. This guide explains the archiving process, requirements, and what happens afterward.

When Can You Archive a Fund?

You can archive a fund only when:

  • There are no active orders in the fund

  • You want to permanently retire the fund

Note: Archived funds still count toward your maximum fund limit.

How to Archive a Fund

Follow these steps to archive a fund:

  1. Log into your Client Portal

  2. Navigate to the Funds Management tab

  3. Click on Funds Manager → My Strategies to see your funds

  4. Find the fund you wish to archive

  5. Click the three-dot menu icon on the right side

  6. Select "Archive the strategy"

  7. Confirm your action on the confirmation page

What Happens After Archiving?

When a fund is archived:

For New Investors:

  • The fund becomes unavailable for subscription

  • Funds Management Invitation Links, codes, and QR codes no longer work

For Current Investors:

  • All active investments are closed

  • The fund becomes view-only

For You as Funds Manager:

  • All pending requests are automatically completed

  • All active investments are closed

  • Performance Fees are calculated and paid at the end of the billing period

  • The fund becomes view-only

  • The associated trading account is archived

Automatic Archiving

When a fund experiences a stop-out, all active investments are automatically closed and the fund is archived. You can view these funds in the "Archived Funds" tab.

Important: The archiving process cannot be reversed. Once archived, a fund cannot be reactivated.
