Understanding Total Equity in Signal Provider Dashboard

Updated over 2 months ago

When looking at the "My Strategies" section as a Signal Provider, the Total Equity represents the combined value of both your own trading capital (the Signal Provider's equity) plus all the capital from your followers who are copying your trades.

This comprehensive view gives you a macro perspective of all assets being managed under your signal. As a Signal Provider, you need to have your own active trading account which serves as the basis for the signals being copied by others. Your personal equity is therefore included in the Total Equity calculation, as it represents part of the total managed funds.

The "My Strategies" dashboard is specifically designed to give Signal Providers a clear overview of their published signals and the total capital following their trading strategy. This allows you to monitor both your own performance and the collective impact of your trading decisions across all followers' accounts.

When you publish a signal, you're essentially allowing others to copy trades from your actual trading account. This means your own capital is always part of the equation, and the platform considers it as part of the total managed funds under your strategy.
