Guide to Understanding Your Signal Provider Dashboard

Overview

This article provides a comprehensive breakdown of the data and metrics displayed on the Signal Provider dashboard. When a Signal Provider navigates to the Social Trading section and selects My Signals, the platform presents a concise summary of their trading signal's performance, investor engagement, and financial metrics. Understanding these key performance indicators allows Signal Providers to monitor their accounts accurately and optimize their social trading strategies.

Core Instructions and Dashboard Metrics

The Signal Provider dashboard displays several essential metrics that reflect the real-time status and financial health of a trading signal. To view this information, log in to the platform, navigate to the Social Trading menu, and select My Signals.

The interface presents the following data points for your active signal:

  • Signal Name: The unique identifier chosen for your trading profile. For example, a profile might be named TRADE ON AIRE.

  • Total Equity: The combined net valuation of the signal provider's trading account and the accounts of all active investors currently subscribed to this signal. In a typical scenario, this combined value could equal 200,500.00.

  • Strategy Equity: The net valuation belonging exclusively to the signal provider's specific trading account. For instance, the provider's individual share of equity might be 4,500.00.

  • Performance Fee: The percentage of trading profits that the signal provider charges to subscribed investors as compensation. For example, a standard setup might apply a rate of 10%.

  • Investors: The exact number of individuals currently subscribed to the trading signal. For example, a signal might have 5 active investors.

  • Invested: The cumulative historical amount of capital that all investors have committed to this signal since its initial creation. For example, the total historical funding could equal 679,000.00 USD.

  • Minimum Investment: The lowest financial amount an investor must commit to successfully subscribe to the signal. For example, a platform setting might require a minimum investment amount of 1,000.00 USD.

Important Considerations and Performance Calculations

When evaluating dashboard data, it is important to distinguish between total capital flow and individual account values to avoid calculation errors.

Calculation Formulas and Practical Examples

To better understand how total net value is derived, use the following straightforward formula:

  • Total Equity Formula: Total Equity equals Strategy Equity plus Investor Subscribed Equity.

  • Example: If your individual Strategy Equity is 4,500.00 and your combined active investors have a net value of 196,000.00, the Total Equity displayed on your dashboard will be exactly 200,500.00.

Please note that the Invested figure represents a historical log of all capital deposited since the signal's inception. This figure does not change based on current market fluctuations or investor withdrawals, as it functions strictly as a cumulative history metric.
