Account Security: Two-Factor Authentication Requirements

Updated yesterday

Below is a comprehensive guide to two-factor authentication requirements for various account operations at FXTRADING.com.

When Two-Factor Authentication is Required

The following actions require two-factor authentication (SMS, Email, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator):

  • Login from a new location

  • Adding/modifying payment information (cryptocurrency wallets, bank accounts, etc.)

  • Changing phone number

  • Changing email address

  • Modifying login password

  • Resetting login password

  • Requesting withdrawals

  • External transfers

  • Setting up Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator

Important Information About Account Verification

When registering a FXTRADING.com account, you must verify both your mobile phone number and email address. Providing incorrect contact information will result in failed registration as you won't receive verification codes. If you encounter difficulties during registration, please contact our customer service team through the Service Hub, Live Chat, or by emailing [email protected].

Once your mobile phone number and email address are verified during registration, they are automatically enabled as two-factor authentication methods. You will receive confirmation emails notifying you that two-factor authentication has been successfully added. If you receive such notifications but did not register for our services using your phone number and email, please contact us immediately.

Advantages of Authenticator Apps

While SMS and email verification codes typically arrive within seconds, delivery may be delayed due to weak signals, poor network conditions, regional channel congestion, or carrier issues.

We recommend binding Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator to your account as these apps function even without an internet connection, allowing you to complete two-factor authentication anytime without delays.
