What happens when a fund is archived?

Archiving a fund can start a sequence of closing, valuation, settlement and redemption actions. These actions may not all happen at the moment the archive request is submitted.

Archiving a fund can start a sequence of closing, valuation, settlement and redemption actions. These actions may not all happen at the moment the archive request is submitted.

For Funds Managers

Before confirming an archive request:

  1. Open the fund in the FXTRADING.com Client Portal.

  2. Review the fund status, open activity and the effect described in the confirmation.

  3. Confirm the request only when the displayed information is correct.

  4. Monitor Funds Management → Funds Manager → My Approvals for the current status and any required action.

Do not submit the archive request again merely because settlement is still in progress.

For investors

After a fund enters the archiving process:

  1. Open Funds Management → Investor → My Actions.

  2. Select the relevant record.

  3. Review the status, amount or estimate, destination and any action shown.

  4. If the portal asks you to choose a destination, select an eligible trading account or Investment Wallet and confirm it.

  5. Continue monitoring the record until the funds appear at the recorded destination.

The redemption amount may not be available during the first stage. Settlement can occur in more than one step, and a destination selection may be required before the transfer can be completed.

How long does it take?

Use the status and estimate displayed for the record. Timing can depend on when the archive request was submitted, trading days, settlement stages and when any required destination is selected.

When should I contact FXTRADING.com?

Contact FXTRADING.com if no record appears, an action cannot be completed, the status is unclear, the displayed estimate has passed, or a completed record has not credited the recorded destination.

Provide the fund name or reference, action or redemption reference, displayed status, destination and relevant timestamps. Never provide a password or one-time code.
