MT4 desktop: display and understand the one-click trading panel

Show or hide the chart panel, review its controls and understand when trading commands need no further confirmation.

The MT4 desktop chart panel can submit market buy and sell requests. Displaying the panel and enabling one-click trading are separate settings. These instructions concern MT4 desktop; Android, MT5 and Web Trader have different interfaces.

Display the panel and check the intended action

  1. Select the intended instrument’s chart in MT4 desktop.

  2. Right-click the chart and choose One Click Trading to display the panel.

  3. Use the small icon to the left of the OHLC price line to show or hide it again.

  4. Review the displayed trading volume before using either trading button. Showing the panel does not establish that an order executed.

  5. Check the one-click mode in the terminal’s options, under Trade. On first use, read the displayed terms; accept only if you intend to use this mode.

  6. After an intentional trading request, inspect the actual result and account records. Do not infer a fill from the button click alone.

Understand the confirmation setting

When one-click trading is enabled, relevant chart trading commands run without a further trading dialog. Hiding the panel is not the same action as deactivating that mode in the terminal options. The mode also affects chart trade levels, chart context-menu trading commands and the terminal’s Trade tab.

Check instrument, direction and volume before clicking Buy or Sell. In instant-execution mode, the configured price deviation applies; a requote is recorded in the terminal journal. This does not establish the execution mode offered for a particular FXT instrument.
