Rebate and Trading Volume Calculation Rules

Check how trade duration and instrument rebate settings affect Partner rebates and trading volume, and troubleshoot activity that was not counted.

As a Partner of FXTRADING.com, you may encounter situations where certain trades don't generate rebates or aren't counted toward your trading volume. This primarily relates to trade duration and specific instrument rebate policies.

How Trade Duration Affects Rebates and Volume

Trade duration is a critical factor in determining whether a trade generates rebates and counts toward volume:

  • Trades under 1 minutes: All orders that are closed within 1 minutes of opening will not generate any rebates, nor will they be counted in your Partner loyalty program trading volume statistics.

  • Trades over 1 minutes: Only trades with a duration exceeding 1 minutes will be calculated.

Rebate Policies for Specific Instruments

For certain trading instruments, even without rebate settings, as long as the trade duration meets requirements, they will still affect your trading volume statistics:

  • Instruments without rebate settings: Although trades on these instruments don't generate rebates, as long as the trade duration exceeds 1 minutes (from opening to closing), they will still count toward your trading volume statistics.

How do I resolve issues?

If you find certain trades aren't generating expected rebates or aren't counted in your volume, check:

  1. Whether the trade duration exceeds 1 minutes

  2. Whether the relevant instrument has rebate settings

  3. Whether your Partner account settings are correct
