Latency in Social Trading Execution

Review Social Trading latency by separating Signal Provider execution, Investor copy execution, and dashboard refresh timing while considering account, instrument, market, server, and network conditions.

Scope: Social Trading execution and display behaviour can vary by server, account type, instrument, market conditions and network conditions. Distinguish the Signal Provider's order execution, the Investor's copied order and dashboard refresh timing when reviewing a result.

Are copied trades executed at the same time and price?

No fixed latency, millisecond speed, price match, or performance match is guaranteed. A Signal Provider order and an Investor's copied order are separate execution events, so their timing, price, size, and result can differ.

What can cause a difference?

  • Copy timing: the Signal Provider order and copied Investor order can have different timestamps because of processing and network latency.

  • Market and execution: instrument, spread, liquidity, volatility, gaps, server, and slippage can affect execution.

  • Investment and account: Copy Ratio, allocated amount, balance, and subscription time can affect size and result.

  • Display: the dashboard can refresh at a different time from trade execution; refresh timing alone does not prove execution delay.

How to review a result

Compare the values currently shown in the Signal Provider and investment records, including the signal or investment reference, instrument, order status, opening and closing times and prices, and available size or Copy Ratio.

If an unexplained difference remains, submit a secure support request with the relevant references, date, time and time zone, the values you compared, and a screenshot with sensitive data hidden. Do not send a password, one-time code, private key, or recovery phrase.

Expectation boundaries

Copying a trade does not guarantee the same price, result, or performance. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Use the current product information, risk warnings, and settings displayed for your investment.
