Archiving a fund can start a sequence of closing, valuation, settlement and redemption actions. These actions may not all happen at the moment the archive request is submitted.
When Can You Archive a Fund?
Open the fund and use Archive only when the current My Strategies page displays the action. If it is absent or blocked, follow the status and requirements shown; do not close activity or submit extra requests solely to make the action appear.
Review the confirmation for effects on open orders or activity, current investments, pending requests, fees, settlement, destination, invitations, access, and the fund limit. Confirm only when the displayed information is correct.
How do I archive a fund?
Follow these steps to archive a fund:
Log into your Client Portal
Navigate to the Funds Management tab
Click on Fund Manager, then My Strategies to see your funds
Find the fund you wish to archive
Click the three-dot menu icon on the right side
Select "Archive the strategy"
Confirm your action on the confirmation page
For Fund Managers
Before confirming an archive request:
Open the fund in the FXTRADING.com Client Portal.
Review the fund status, open activity and the effect described in the confirmation.
Confirm the request only when the displayed information is correct.
Monitor Funds Management, then Fund Manager, then My Approvals for the current status and any required action.
Do not submit the archive request again merely because settlement is still in progress.
For investors
After a fund enters the archiving process:
Open Funds Management, then Investors, then My Action.
On the Activity History page, select the relevant record.
Review the status, amount or estimate, destination and any action shown.
If the portal asks you to choose a destination, select an eligible trading account or Investment Wallet and confirm it.
Continue monitoring the record until the funds appear at the recorded destination.
The redemption amount may not be available during the first stage. Settlement can occur in more than one step, and a destination selection may be required before the transfer can be completed.
How long does it take?
Use the status and estimate displayed for the record. Timing can depend on when the archive request was submitted, trading days, settlement stages and when any required destination is selected.
What Happens After Archiving?
Submitting an archive request starts a process; it is not, by itself, proof that the process is complete.
Each pending subscription, redemption, or detachment request keeps its own status. Do not call it automatically completed because of the archive; the current request status and configured review method control.
Do not state that every investment is closed, fees are paid, or the trading account is archived until each relevant current record shows that result.
If a stop-out or system event begins a closing or archive sequence, follow the current notice and statuses; do not infer the outcome from the stop-out alone.
Treat archiving as potentially irreversible, and do not promise reactivation. Before confirming, read the current warning; afterward, use only actions shown for the archived fund record. If records conflict or an expected state does not progress, use the secure support route with the fund reference and current status, and do not submit a duplicate request.
