Why has my Signal Provider stopped placing trades, and what should I do?

Review reasons for temporary Signal Provider inactivity and assess status, risk, drawdown, performance, and objectives before deciding whether to switch providers.

A Signal Provider may go through periods without opening new trades. A pause does not necessarily mean that the Signal Provider has stopped operating.

Why can trading activity pause?

A Signal Provider decides when to trade according to their trading strategy, market conditions and risk assessment. Activity may pause while the provider waits for suitable conditions, manages existing exposure or follows a trading schedule.

The length of a pause can vary. Past trading frequency does not guarantee that new trades will be opened within a particular period.

What should I review?

  • the trading signal status shown in the Social Trading platform;

  • open positions and recent trading history;

  • risk score, drawdown and longer-term performance;

  • the trading signal description and stated approach; and

  • whether the Signal Provider still matches your objectives and risk tolerance.

Temporary inactivity alone does not show that a Signal Provider's service is defective. Equally, past performance does not guarantee future results.

Should I choose a different Signal Provider?

The decision is yours. Consider the Signal Provider's overall risk and performance rather than trading frequency alone. If the Signal Provider no longer matches your objectives, use the options currently available in the platform to unsubscribe from the Signal Provider or select another eligible Signal Provider.

Changing Signal Providers or spreading funds across multiple Signal Providers does not remove trading risk. Review the applicable conditions before making an investment decision.
