Retrieving Your Trading History Reports

Accessing your trading statements is essential for tracking performance, analyzing your trading patterns, and for tax or accounting purposes. FXTRADING.com Trader platforms (MT4 and MT5) offer straightforward methods to generate and save these reports.

Accessing Trading Reports in MT4

  1. Go to the "Account History" tab in the lower "Terminal" menu

  2. Right-click to reveal a drop-down menu

  3. Select "Save as Report" from the drop-down menu

  4. Choose your preferred location to save the report

  5. The report will be saved as an HTML file that you can open in any web browser

Accessing Trading Reports in MT5

  1. Click on the "History" tab in the "Toolbox" window (press Ctrl+T if the Toolbox is not visible)

  2. Select the desired time period for your report using the available filters

  3. Right-click anywhere in the history area

  4. Select "Save as Report" or "Save as Detailed Report" from the context menu

  5. Choose your preferred location to save the report

  6. The report will be saved as an HTML file that you can open in any web browser

Customizing Your Trading Reports

Both platforms allow you to customize the information included in your reports:

In MT4:

  • Right-click in the Account History tab

  • Select "All History" to view your complete trading history

  • Or choose specific date ranges to filter transactions

  • Use "Custom Period" to define exact start and end dates

In MT5:

  • Use the filter options at the top of the History tab

  • Select between "Deals," "Orders," or "Transfers" to view specific types of operations

  • Choose predefined periods or set custom date ranges

  • Use additional filters to narrow down your results

Analyzing Your Trading Statements

Your trading reports contain valuable information including:

  • Entry and exit prices

  • Trade volumes

  • Profit/loss figures

  • Commission and swap charges

  • Opening and closing times of positions
