Email Address Validation Issues During Registration

Updated this week

When you create an account with FXTRADING.com, we perform a real-time email validation check using ZeroBounce (a trusted third-party email verification service). This step protects both you and our community from spam, fraud, abandoned accounts, and delivery problems.

Common Reasons Your Email May Be Flagged or Blocked

Temporary / Disposable Email Addresses

Addresses from services like Temp-Mail, 10MinuteMail, YOPmail, Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail, etc. are not allowed. These addresses are deleted after a short time and are frequently used for fake signups.

Abuse / Toxic Emails (Spamtraps, Complainers, Known Abusers)

Some addresses are on global "do-not-mail" lists because they belong to spamtraps or users who repeatedly mark legitimate emails as spam. Accepting them would hurt our overall deliverability.

Invalid or Non-Existent Mailbox

The mailbox simply doesn't exist on the mail server (e.g., [email protected] was deleted or never created). Our system talks directly to your mail server (SMTP check) and gets a "mailbox does not exist" response.

Role-Based or Generic Addresses

Addresses like info@, admin@, support@, sales@, hello@, etc. are usually shared inboxes. For security and communication reasons we require a personal or individual email address.

Free Email Providers That Block Bulk/Signup Emails

Some free providers (especially certain corporate or university domains) aggressively block transactional emails. In the past we've seen very poor delivery rates to those domains, so we block them proactively.

Typo in the Email Address

Common mistakes like gmai.com, hotmal.com, yaho.com, or missing dots are caught immediately. We usually show a "Did you mean …?" suggestion in that case.

Catch-All Domains That Hide Invalid Addresses

Some companies configure their mail server to accept everything (@company.com). Since we can't tell whether a specific address actually exists, we treat these as risky and block them during registration.

Very New or Dormant Domains/Accounts

Brand-new domains (registered in the last few days) or email accounts that have never been used can sometimes be flagged until they build a small reputation.

What You Can Do

  • Use your personal or work email address from a well-known provider (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, ProtonMail, your company email, etc.).

  • Double-check for typos before submitting.

  • Avoid temporary/disposable email services.

  • If you believe your address was blocked by mistake, please contact our support team at [email protected] with the exact email address you tried to use — we're happy to review it manually.

We run these checks to keep our platform safe, reduce spam, and make sure you actually receive important emails (password resets, order confirmations, etc.). Thank you for understanding!
