Using Prepaid Cards for Deposits

Review prepaid card eligibility, same-card refund priority, issuer compatibility, alternative withdrawal requirements, and applicable processing estimates before choosing this deposit method.

FXTRADING.com accepts prepaid cards as a deposit method, subject to specific conditions to ensure security and compliance.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The prepaid card must be issued by a recognized bank or payment institution

  • The name on the prepaid card must exactly match the name of your FXTRADING.com account holder

  • Prepaid cards issued from the United States of America are not accepted

Important Withdrawal Policies

When using prepaid cards for deposits, please note these key withdrawal rules:

  1. Refund Priority: Initial deposits made with prepaid cards must be refunded to the same card before any profits can be withdrawn

  2. Tracking Deposits: Use the Transaction History section in your Client Portal to monitor which deposits need to be refunded

  3. Compatibility Issues: Some prepaid card issuers do not support profit withdrawals

    • If a withdrawal is rejected, the return to your trading account follows the applicable withdrawal-processing status rather than a “few hours” estimate.

    • You can then select an alternative payment method for withdrawal

    • For account-specific help, sign in to the Client Portal, open Service Hub from the left navigation menu, select Create Ticket, and choose the category and issue that best match your request.

For the smoothest experience, consider these limitations before choosing prepaid cards as your deposit method.

Withdrawal processing time

Processing and delivery times depend on the current request, payment method, provider, receiving institution, local calendars and any required review. Check the current status, action message and displayed estimate in Transaction History. If the record fails, requires action, or is past its displayed estimate, contact Customer Support with the request reference and exact status. Do not submit a duplicate request while the existing record remains active.
