How do I correct the Latin-alphabet spelling of my name?

If the Latin-alphabet spelling of your name in the FXTRADING.com Client Portal does not match your identity document, request a correction through an official support channel.

Before you request a correction

Compare the displayed information with the identity document used for verification. Check:

  • family name and given name order;

  • spelling and spacing;

  • hyphens or other characters;

  • whether a middle name is included; and

  • whether the requested spelling appears on an official document.

Use the legal spelling shown on an accepted identity document. A preferred or informal spelling may not be accepted for an account record.

Request the correction

  1. Sign in to the Client Portal.

  2. Open the Service Hub or official Live Chat.

  3. Explain that the Latin-alphabet spelling of your name is incorrect.

  4. Provide the current displayed spelling and the requested legal spelling.

  5. Include the relevant profile or trading-account reference.

  6. Upload supporting evidence only through the secure method supplied for the request.

Do not send an unredacted passport or identity document through ordinary email or chat when a secure upload option is available.

Will I need to complete verification again?

FXTRADING.com will determine whether the change can be completed from information already verified or whether additional evidence or verification is required. A correction is not guaranteed to be display-only and can affect account or transaction review when the legal name does not match existing records.

How long will the correction take?

Use the status or estimate provided for the request. Timing can depend on the type of change, evidence required and whether another account or transaction is being reviewed.

Do not submit duplicate requests. If the correction is completed but a platform still shows the earlier spelling, sign out, refresh the Client Portal and sign in again before contacting support.

What if I cannot sign in?

Use Forgot password for a Client Portal access problem. If account recovery is also required, contact FXTRADING.com from the registered email address and explain both issues. Never provide a password or one-time code.
