An archived trading account is an inactive account that is separated from your active-account view. Archiving does not delete the account's records, close your FXTRADING.com profile or complete a privacy request.
Why can a trading account become archived?
An eligible account may be archived after a period of inactivity or when you use an archive control available in the Client Portal. The exact eligibility and account state can depend on the account type, balance, open positions, pending transactions and current platform rules.
What happens after an account is archived?
the account may move from the active list to an archived or inactive section;
trading access may be unavailable while the account is archived;
the account's history and required records remain available to FXTRADING.com; and
funds and unresolved transactions remain subject to the account's recorded state.
Do not treat archiving as data deletion or assume that every archived account can be restored automatically.
How do I find an archived account?
Sign in to the Client Portal.
Open the trading-account list.
Select the archived or inactive account view, if available.
Open the account to check its status and available actions.
Portal labels can change. If the account is missing from both active and archived views, contact FXTRADING.com.
Can I archive an account myself?
Open the account actions in the Client Portal. If Archive account is available, review the message and confirm the action. If the control is unavailable, the account may not currently meet the archive conditions.
Do not close positions, cancel transactions or move funds solely to make the control appear without first considering the consequences of those actions.
Can an archived account be reactivated?
Open the archived account and use the reactivation control shown, if available. If no control appears, contact support for an account-specific review. Reactivation is not guaranteed for every account state or legacy account type.
Is archiving the same as closing or deleting my account?
No.
Account archiving changes the state or visibility of an eligible trading account.
Account closure asks FXTRADING.com to end access to an account or service.
A privacy request asks FXTRADING.com to assess information connected with you.
A marketing opt-out stops optional promotional messages.
